How do I get in?
After you have completed your online booking, you will receive an email. This will contain the dates of your stay, along with the pin codes for the gates: It will look like this:

Upper Terrace : xxxxxxxxx – This is your gate code
Lower Terrace: xxxxxxxxx – This is your gate code
Can I come and go during my stay?
Yes you can, just use your unique gate code to exit and re-enter the property. Your gate code will be valid during the duration of your stay.
Can I book in advance
Absolutely, yes you can. Your gate code will not be active until your booking day and time.
Can I pay cash?
Sorry, no. All bookings must be made online via our booking system. This is because our booking system is linked to the gate padlocks.
Is Lake Karapiro safe to swim in?
Yes! Lake Karapiro is safe to swim in – enjoy.
Are visitors allowed?
Yes, visitors are allowed.
Can kids stay free?
Under 5’s are free – do not add any children under 5 in your booking. Children over 5 are $10.
Are pets allowed?
Yes! We are dog friendly. We ask that you keep your dog under control and don’t let them roam the property and bother other guests, and of course, clean up after your pooch.
Is there water?
Water is available on site in various locations, but is not advisable as drinking water.
Do we need to be NZMCA Members to stay?
No, you do not need to be NZMCA Members to stay at Lakeside Terraces.
